Background

Elissa graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 1999 with a degree in occupational therapy. She worked in mental health and aged care rehab, and joined the Hands-On team in 2016 to specialise in hand therapy.

Elissa enjoys all areas of hand therapy, but as a violinist and pianist, she especially loves the challenge of treating injured musicians.

Outside of work, Elissa enjoys playing music with friends, baking treats for her family, and writing fiction for children and young adults.
