Gareth initally studied Exercise Science at The University of Wollongong then built on that experience by completing his Physiotherapy Degree at Sydney University in 2004. As a new graduate he worked at the Canberra Hospital, gaining experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions,. Since 2007, Gareth has been making ongoing contributions to the SportsCare and Physiotherapy Clinics having worked at Dickson, O'Connor, Garran (now moved to Barton), Barton and Parliament House.

Most recently Gareth with his wife Louise have been responsible for developing the newest SportsCare Clinics, Barton and Parliament House, both clinics working together to deliver physiotherapy services to the surrounding suburbs including, local businesses and Government Departments.  Focus is on early intervention for work related injuries, postural issues, sporting injuries, post surgical management, back and neck pain, aiming for timely return to work and sport and activity.

Gareth has an interest in shoulder and neck pain and injuries, and drawing from his experience caring for Volleyball players, and Dragon Boat Paddlers over the past 4+ yrs, brings this experience to all of his clients.

Gareth is currently covering the local dragon boat regattas for the Canberra Dragon Boating Association
