ANU Volleyball Club

The Australian National University Volleyball Club is a club for the promotion of the sport of volleyball for students, staff, graduates ANU Volley Balland affiliates of the ANU. In its current form it has been one of the leading clubs in the ACT competition in both on court performance and off court player and member development.

Belconnen Magpies

The Belconnen Magpies Football Club has six football sides including a senior side in the NEAFL Eastern Conference.The club has a rich tradition and successful history including playing in 10 of the last 14 grand finals and winning four of them. Off-field the club has a fantastic supporter base and is constantly out in the community giving back to the people who help us get out on the park. They are proud to have an association with SportsCare Physiotherapy who keep them on the field each week.

 Canberra Cycling Club

canberra cycling clubThe Canberra Cycling Club is one of the oldest and largest cycling clubs in Australia, a great reflection on the club and the environment in which we are able to ride. The club is very proud of its members and at the international level our members include Matthew Hayman, Michael Rogers and Oenone Wood.

Canberra Dragon Boating Association

The CDBA is a community of people from all the Canberra teams who share a common goal to be active and successful participants in this fun and exhilarating team sport. The CDBA is a full member of the Australian Dragon Boat Federation and is recognised as a peak body by ACT Sport and Recreation. During peak season, the dragon boats  can be seen on the lake every day.

 FIT - Females in Training

Females in Training (FIT) is a group for women, of all abilities, enjoying safe, non-competitive training in a supportive atmosphere. The group provides training sessions, coaching, advice and regular get-togethers for women with similar interests.

Our main focus is on the three triathlon disciplines of swimming, running and cycling. We have accredited coaches in all three areas who can provide advice and training programs for beginners and novices through to an advanced level. We are particularly interested in providing support for women who are commencing or recommencing their involvement in physical activity.

PTC - Performance Triathlon Coaching  

Performance Triathlon Coaching provides quality coaching services for triathletes of a range of abilities that share a passion for the sport of triathlon. PTC provides professional programs to help develop athletes and assist them to achieve their goals in racing, be it local or interstate races, ITU Junior Series, NSW Pro Tour events or age group competitions at the national level.

Triathlon ACT (TACT) is the peak body representing triathlon in the Canberra region. TACT is a member-based organisation responsible for the development, promotion and administration of triathlon and related multi-sport events in Canberra.

Tridents Triathlon Club offers training for all standards of triathletes, from novice to Olympians.

UC Firebirds

The University of Canberra Firebirds Gridiron club was formed in 1993 to compete in the inaugural season of the ACT Gridiron league. It was one of five clubs originally formed for the Seniors competition.

Wests Rugby

The mighty force which is the Western District Rugby Union Football Club started with humble beginnings when, on the 13th March 1962, the Lyneham Rugby Union Football Club was formed.  The emphasis of the Lyneham Rugby Club was on junior Rugby and teams in all age divisions. 

The first senior Lyneham Rugby team was entered into the ACT competition in reserve grade in 1963 and by 1966 Lyneham was represented in all three senior grades. Success came quickly to the new club with a Reserve Grade premiership in 1965, a Third Grade premiership in 1968 and significantly, the first of many First Grade premierships in 1969.  see more.....
